During the first semester of tenth grade, in the class English, Speech, and composition students were assigned a sustainable project based on renewable sources to demonstrate the importance of environmental sustainability for innovative forms of energy. At Rochester School, the community focuses on the future of our generation with the environment in mind. Students learn about the importance of sustainability and how being a systemic citizen influences daily activities.

Students understand how the dramatic and devastating consequences of global warming and climate change can influence our integral health.  Therefore, a project called “powering my future” uses diverse subjects to comprehend and participate in innovative useful sources of renewable energy as alternatives to preserve a long-lasting life in our only home. Students used Rochester School’s virtues and incredible schools to find alternatives to sustainable energy sources. Students were asked to take charge of their project in this real-life application of what it means to cooperate into a better planet.
